Many thanks to FSU Big Event volunteers Jeff and Alice who came out and worked hard in the garden on Saturday. We got soooooo much done!

The Damayan Project has an online auction going on right now.  Sort of like a raffle, you purchase a ticket for a chance at some very worthwhile items.  Just a few days left to help.  Check it out here:

This just came in from the Community Garden network: This weekend several volunteers went to Lott’s Community Garden to weed and maintain the garden that Second Harvest has there. Much to our surprise the turnips were ready to harvest.  In about 1.5 hours seven of us harvested a trailer load of turnips and greens. HOWEVER, […]

The greens are looking great.  Come join us in the garden this Saturday and every second and fourth Saturday of the month for planting, weeding, watering, building, digging, and playing in the dirt.

Meg and the kids at The Front Porch Library made these plant labels for the community garden.  Aren’t they gorgeous?!

We had a great day on Saturday.  Thanks to all who came out.  There is still plenty of space in the shared beds if you’d like to tend a patch of carrots, lettuce, arugula, kale, collards, turnips, or radishes.  The next workday is the second Saturday in October, the 10th. Click here for pics.

Be there or be square !!  Workdays every second and fourth Saturday until we’re planted out for the winter.
