Thinning and sharing

harvest sharedWe thinned the children’s beds today, pulling out crowded radish seedlings and harvesting some mustard greens.  The mustard greens were shared with one neighbor and the radish greens with another.  We’re hoping that radish greens taste like turnip greens since that’s how they were billed.  We’ll savor the radishes in a salad this week.  Evidently they’re an acquired taste (see this post at thefrontporchlibrary.com).
